Idaho Speech-Language Pathologist License Reciprocity Process

There is no reciprocity process for SLP licensure in Idaho. Instead, individuals with a current SLP license in another state can seek licensure through Idaho’s endorsement process by submitting the following documentation:

  • A completed, notarized application (download application from here)
  • Name change verification (if applicable)
  • Government-issued ID
  • Verification of licensure from all states you have ever been licensed
  • Licensure laws/rules from your issuing state (if asked by the Board)
  • Application fee of $25
  • License fee of $70

If the issuing state’s laws and rules surrounding SLP licensure are similar to Idaho’s, you will be granted a license.
