North Dakota Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License Reciprocity Process

If an applicant possesses a current license in good standing to practice as an audiologist, speech-language pathologist, or speech-language pathology licensed assistant in another state or jurisdiction that enforces standards that are at least substantially similar to those imposed under the North Dakota Administrative Code – Title 11 Article 2 Chapter 1, the board may grant licensure.

If applying for SLPA licensure in North Dakota through Reciprocity, you need to provide:

  • Provide a copy of the laws and rules in effect for each state when you were granted a license.
  • Provide a copy of your active license for each state you are licensed in.
