Alaska Speech-Language Pathologist License Renewal Process

All licenses, regardless of the date it was issued, will expire on September 30th of even-numbered years. The only exemption is licenses issued within 90 days of the expiration date, which are given a renewal date of the next biennium.

Reminders for licensees to renew are sent 30 days before the state-wide expiration date. If you plan to relocate to another state and open a practice, you’ll likely need proof of CE hours before being granted licensure.
