Wyoming Speech-Language Pathologist License Renewal Procedure

A speech pathology license expires the year following the year of issuance on December 31st. The Wyoming Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology will send a renewal notice to you at your last recorded address one to two months before December 31st.

To avoid late fees, the application must be postmarked by December 31st. The speech pathology license will be renewed for one calendar year when your renewal application is approved, and you will be given new pocket ID cards and a receipt. Failure to complete the Application on time may result in a Wyoming practice suspension until license issuance. The administrative grace period allows licensees to apply for renewal up to three years after expiration.

Late renewal fees amount to $200, and the $100 renewal fee to $300.

Application For Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Faxed and incomplete applications are unacceptable as the Board requires receipt of the complete, original, signed renewal application. The renewal application must be submitted along with the non-refundable renewal fee of $100 made payable to the State of Wyoming. If you hold both a Speech Pathologist and Audiologist license, you must submit a renewal fee for each license, but you can use only one completed form.

You will be required to fill out the following details on the speech-language pathology and audiology renewal form:

  • Applicant Information
  • Home Address
  • Business Address
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, Aides, and Audiometric Technicians
  • Continuing Education
  • Practice History

You need to list the courses you have taken and attach copies of continuing education documentation to the renewal application.
