Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist License Reciprocity Process

SLPs who received their license in another state or territory can obtain licensure in Connecticut through reciprocity. That means that the national examination requirement can be waived by the Department if the applicant was licensed in a jurisdiction with equivalent requirements for SLP licensure.

A Verification of Licensure must be forwarded to each state in which you are licensed. The issuing state will then send the form back to the Connecticut DPH for review. A licensure determination is made and you are notified via email.
