Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist License Reciprocity Process

The Board allows Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) licensed in other jurisdictions to obtain a license in Oregon if the issuing state has an equivalent academic standard. This process waives the examination requirements for applicants. Submit the following documents online:

  • Official graduate transcripts
  • Praxis Exam Report showing a passing score and the CFSI form; or
    • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Verification of SLP license from issuing state
  • A completed background check

After reviewing your application the Board will send a notification once the license has been issued.
