Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist License Renewal Process
Renewing your license in Nevada is relatively easy. For newly-licensed professionals, there is no continuing education requirements for your initial renewal. After that, you will need ten hours of continuing education per year. These hours must be in your area of licensure and include one hour on cultural competency or diversity topics. You will list these hours on your application with descriptions. Then, you must retain records in case of an audit.
Every year, you’ll get a reminder 60 days before the license expiration. Then, you will log into their online portal and fill out the forms. Unfortunately, we don’t know what’s on the renewal form. However, it does not appear that there’s any more documentation required unless you have a change of circumstances.
