New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist License Renewal Procedure

Licenses expire two years after the date of issuance on the last day of the month. A renewal notification is emailed 60 days and 15 days prior to the license’s expiration date. The e-mail will contain a registration code so you can create your online account. If you already have an account, log in using your username and password. If you didn’t receive a code or are having trouble registering contact CustomerSupport@oplc.nh.gov.

Renewal applications are now submitted online and no paper forms are accepted. You’re required to pay a $110 licensing fee and acquire 30 hours of continuing education (CE). There is a space on the application where you provide the total hours of CE completed. You won’t need to include any documentation of your CE experience with your application, but you are required to retain the files for at least three years.

If your application is selected for an audit of the professional activities you participated in, you will have to produce certificates of completion. These are given to you by the instructor at the end of the activity.

The following lists a few of the approved continuing professional education activities:

  • ASHA-approved educational events
  • Having a journal or magazine article about speech-language pathology published
  • Participating in a speech-language pathology research project
  • Teaching a speech-language pathology related course
